Description
Coyotes were historically not all that common in eastern North American, but with the opening up for settlement over the last couple of centuries, their range has expanded. Nonetheless in spite of their current relative abundance, they are not often seen in mid-day in such a relaxed pose. This one decided I was harmless enough as it basked in the late autumn sunshine.
